Layer was founded by Michael Low, an engineer and systems builder with a background in technical inspection, quality assurance and operational problem-solving.
That experience shaped how Layer works today: understand the process first, make the important decisions visible, design for the exceptions and build something people can actually rely on.
Layer combines workflow design, automation, AI and systems integration to build practical systems around the way growing businesses already operate.
